To get those six pack abs you want, exercise, weight loss and ab work are what you will need to focus on. You can not have one without the other. As any fitness trainer will tell you, you can do lots of work on your abs but without fat loss they will never be visible.

A healthy diet is essential. If you put the proper fuel into your body it will perform well for you much like gasoline in a car. Give your body natural, whole foods to get the best from it. Processed foods, sugary foods will just give empty calories which lead to fat storage and loss of energy. Your calories should be working for you to give you energy.

How to Lose 30 Pounds in the Next Month

Slimbelly1As you can imagine, having 5 kids in 10 years can take it toll on your body.  Gravity

creates sags where sags should never be.  Parts that I used to call perky, now don’t perk

all that much.  At times you just feel like telling Mother Nature that she got her first

name right, but you are beginning to question her last name. 

After my 5th child was born, I was struggling to get the “baby weight” off.  As fate would have it, a good friend of mine was just starting to get into fitnessand she wanted to use me as her test subject.  She would go off and do research, come back and say “ok, let’s try this”.  Some of it worked, some of it didn’t.  It took a while, but eventually we began to see results and so did others.

Comments started out as “you look great for having 5 kids” or “you look great for your age”.

 

Then they became just “YOU LOOK GREAT!” and then finally, “Can you help me to look like you?”

Over the next several years my friend created what she affectionately called “The Fit Yummy Mummy” program.  Now for the first time, she has shared it with the world.

Let me tell you this.  This program works incredibly well.  I think I have every challenge in the world.  My body has changed dramatically after having 5 kids and my body has changed some more after I turned 40.  I have to deal with Oreo cookies, Twinkies, and hundreds of other treats in the house. 

I understand the panic and despair that comes with the pounds that seem to come with childbirth and middle age.  The thing is, the pounds don’t have to come. 

Not only do the pounds not have to come, but other pounds can and will leave.  The amazing part of all of this is you won’t have to give up any of the foods you love and you won’t have to make huge lifestyle changes.
